About The Young Idea contains a feature length documentary with substantial bonus features and a previously unreleased full length concert in the two disc set. The live show includes ‘“Going Underground,” “Dreams Of Children,” “Modern World,” “Start,” “Strange Town,” “When You’re Young,” “In The City,” “The Eton Rifles,” “Down In The Tube Station At Midnight,” and more.

About The Young Idea charts The Jam’s career from their formation in the early seventies, through the heady days of chart success and on to their break-up in 1982. The program features extensive, brand new interviews with Paul Weller, Bruce Foxton and Rick Buckler alongside archive performance footage and new contributions from fans, journalists and many involved in the band’s career. The package contains About The Young Idea on Disc One and When You’re Young, The Jam’s performance on famous German TV show Rockpalast from 1980 on Disc Two.

As Bonus Features, Disc One of About The Young Idea includes not only additional interviews not included in the broadcast version transmitted by Sky Arts in September, but also four extra live tracks.  Two were recorded at The Rainbow, London in 1979, namely, “It’s Too Bad” and “Saturday’s Kids.” The set also includes performances of “The Modern World” and “The Eton Rifles” from a show at The Ritz, New York City, May 1981. The Deluxe Edition of About The Young Idea contains the two DVDs plus a CD of the 1980 live show in a 40 page DVD sized hardback book.

Released in conjunction with the About The Young Idea exhibition at Somerset House in London, and the recent best of CD of the same name, this title makes up the ultimate set for any fans of The Jam.

New York, NY (August 3, 2015)— This fall, Eagle Rock Entertainment will release Invitation To Illumination – Live At Montreux 2011 on 2CD and Digital Formats – September 11, 2015 [MSRP $19.98].

On July 1^st, 2011, the famed Montreux Jazz Festival hosted the reunion of master-guitarists Carlos Santana and John McLaughlin with their Invitation To Illumination concert. This is the first ever release of the audio from this unique concert, which includes most of the tracks from their classic 1973 album Love Devotion Surrender.  Invitation To Illumination – Live At Montreux 2011 also features the late Claude Nobs, founder of the Montreux Jazz Festival, playing harmonica on the final track.

Both Santana and McLaughlin have been regulars at Montreux throughout the years but this was the first time they headlined their own concert together. The show features compelling performances of the beloved tracks from   Love Devotion Surrender as well as songs that have influenced Carlos & John’s incredible careers, including songs by Led Zeppelin, Miles Davis, John Coltrane, Bob Dylan & John Lee Hooker. 2)Rolling Stones Hyde Park

`From The Vault` is a series of live concerts from The Rolling Stones archive which are getting their first official release. `Hyde Park 1969` is the latest addition to the series.

It was one of the most highly anticipated gigs of 1969 and it delivered on all the promise and then some. On July 5, 1969, the Rolling Stones hosted their iconic free concert in London`s Hyde Park.
Having taken two years off from the road, the show was conceived as the beginning of the band`s big return to the live stage. It was also planned as an introduction of their hot new guitar player, Mick Taylor. The former disciple of British blues legend John Mayall had been inducted into the Stones just a month prior.
Over 400,000 delirious fans of all ages gathered into the park for the concert. The Stones` concert in London`s Hyde Park would pay homage to the late Brian Jones and usher in the new and extraordinary era of Mick Taylor (1969-74).

#7 THE WHO LIVE AT SHEA STADIUM, 1982

Live at Shea Stadium, 1982 is a very special Who document, entertaining and inspiring on many levels. So allow this writer a little artistic license to give you an overview of this classic moment in rock and roll history, beautifully filmed, restored and packaged by Eagle Vision.

The late Jo Jo Laine said “I was with Keith Moon the night that he died.”  It was, of course, the infamous Buddy Holly film preview of September 6, 1978 after the release of Who Are You.  With Moon diminishing and the Who not as energetic – 1975’s “Squeeze Box” a true low for the group, the antithesis of the brilliant “Join Together,” the group was already, in this critic’s mind, moving far from the magic.  Moon’s passing on September 7 was the line in the sand.

 On 29 June 2015, Eagle Rock Entertainment release LIVE AT SHEA STADIUM 1982 by The Who on DVD, SD Blu-ray and digital formats.  The set list on this amazing show features both classic tracks and rarely performed songs and includes: ‘Pinball Wizard’, ‘Won’t Get Fooled Again’, ‘My Generation’, ‘Substitute’, ‘Who Are You’, ‘I Can’t Explain’, ‘See Me Feel Me’, ‘Baba O’Riley’ and many more. Although a couple of tracks have appeared on compilations, this is the first official release of the full show and features restored footage and newly mixed sound.

The Who’s 1982 tour, which was all in North America apart from two warm-up dates at the Birmingham NEC in England, was their last to feature Kenney Jones on drums and the band did not tour again until 1989. The tour promoted the recent IT’S HARD album, which had been released in June 1982, and the set list included a number of tracks from that album, some of which the band would only play live on this tour. This concert film features the show from the second of their two nights at New York’s Shea Stadium and was filmed on 13 October 1982.
